Delete your FIELDNOTE account

You can ask FIELDNOTE to delete your account and the personal data linked to it at any time. You don't need to give a reason.

How to request deletion

1. Tap the button below, or email gentlegiant125x@gmail.com.
2. Send it from the email address you use to sign in to FIELDNOTE, with the subject “Delete my FIELDNOTE account”.
3. We reply to confirm the request came from you, then delete your account within 30 days and email you when it's done.

What we delete

• Your account: email address, password and sign-in sessions.
• Your profile: name, student ID, institution, department and level.
• Your course enrolments and course roles.
• Your notification and reminder settings, and any pending notifications for you.

What we may keep

• Notices, timetable changes and documents you published as a course representative stay with the course as part of its official record, including the name shown on them, so students don't lose course information. You can ask us to remove your name from them in the same email.
• Class check-ins are stored as coded tokens that don't contain your name or account. They can no longer be linked to you once your account is deleted.
• A record of changes to official course information (what was changed and when) is kept for accountability. Once your account is deleted, it no longer shows who you are.

We don't keep any other copy of your personal data after deletion, except where the law requires us to.
